I’ve had various brands of air purifiers in my bedroom for 20+ years due to having dust mite allergies, along with many other allergies. This is the best filter I’ve ever had. It’s cut down my asthma symptoms at least in half, maybe even by 75%. I can’t believe how much of an impact it’s had. I normally spend the spring and summer taking a boatload of supplements for asthma/allergies along with occasionally using an inhaler. In the month some I’ve had this filter, I think I’ve used my inhaler only once, and cut my supplements in half. I still have more allergy symptoms than I’d like, but they are easier to handle when the asthma is reduced.

Hi! I just wanted to submit a slight oversight in the description of the HealthMate Junior Plus. According to the Austin Air website, the Austin Air HealthMate Junior Plus is not a 5 stage filter as it does not have a HEGA. It’s a smaller version of the HealthMate and is a 4 stage filter. As far as I can tell, the difference between the HealthMate Junior and the HealthMate Junior Plus is the latter has potassium iodine in the filter; however I only concluded this is by comparing the two on the Austin Air website. I’ve been a fan of your website for years. Thanks to you I have completely changed my home environment and the products that I use. Please keep up the great work!!!
