IS THE SONIC ELECTRIC TOOTHBRUSH BODY AND CHARGING DOCK BIODEGRADEABLE?

The Sonic Electric Toothbrush body and charging dock are made from recyclable plastics and metals. While they are not biodegradable, they are 100% recyclable! We continue to look for better and better ways to promote products with the highest % biodegradability possible.

WHAT IS THE SONIC ELECTRIC TOOTHBRUSH HANDLE MADE OF? 

The Sonic Electric Toothbrush handle and charging base are made of 
Polycarbonate and are 100% recyclable.

HOW LONG WILL MY ELECTRIC TOOTHBRUSH BATTERY LAST BEFORE I HAVE TO RECHARGE IT?

On a full charge, your Electric Toothbrush battery should last about 5-6 weeks based on using it for 2 minutes two times per day.

HOW LONG DOES EACH ELECTRIC TOOTHBRUSH HEAD LAST?

Each Electric Toothbrush head should last between 2-3 months depending on how firmly and how often you brush your teeth.

DO THE PEARLBAR ELECTRIC TOOTHBRUSH HEADS WORK ON OTHER ELECTRIC TOOTHBRUSHES?

The Bamboo Heads that come in the package with our Sonic Electric Toothbrush are NOT compatible with any other electric toothbrushes.

HOW DO YOU DISPOSE OF USED BAMBOO ELECTRIC TOOTHBRUSH HEADS?

The best way to dispose of your used Bamboo Electric Toothbrush heads is to use a pair of tweezers to first pull out the bristles, as they are made of Nylon. Then, split the brush head down the middle (start at the bottom where the cornstarch insert is) and remove the cornstarch insert. The bristles and the insert go in the trash and the main bamboo portion is 100% biodegradable.

WHAT IS THE SMALL PLASTIC PART IN THE TOOTHBRUSH HEAD MADE OF?

The small insert in each bamboo toothbrush is made from cornstarch and Polypropylene, one of the safer plastics. This component is 60% biodegradable and ecologically superior to the plastics used in standard electric toothbrush heads.

WHAT DOES THE WARRANTY COVER?

The 1-year warranty on the electric toothbrush covers any and all toothbrush malfunctions that are not the result of user error, breakage or accidental damage. If your toothbrush does not work on arrival or stops working due to a manufacturing malfunction, we will gladly replace it (within the 1 year warranty).
