We’ve been searching for healthful cereals for years, and it’s mostly bad news out there. Granola in particular usually contains gross oils in it (like canola or soybean) and is loaded with sugar.

This delicious, organic granola from Butterfly Bakery is handmade in Vermont, and sweetened with just pure maple syrup. It packs other nutritional powerhouses, too, like quinoa and coconut oil. Maia’s kids love this with either yogurt or milk, and you can even eat it by the handful for a filling snack.

Maia and her family, who lived in Vermont for 30 years, always stock up on Butterfly Bakery’s organic treats when they visit Montpelier. Somehow, no one in Brooklyn has figured out how to make maple-syrup sweetened snacks or cereals, so Maia soon took to ordering in bulk from Butterfly Bakery.
