What Makes This Good Stuff
Andi Lynn’s Pure Elderberry Syrup is a unique take on a traditional recipe, as timeless as it is trusted.
Last year, a friend asked what I thought of elderberry syrup because she swears it works to prevent colds in her 3-year-old daughter (and unlike some remedies, it actually tastes good!).
The short answer is that studies about the efficacy of elderberry syrup are very promising: studies show it decreases the duration of the influenza virus by four days and cold viruses by even more.
Wondering about the science behind elderberry? Studies suggests it “may help to prevent the early stage of coronavirus infections, which includes COVID-19,” according to Dr. Andrew Weill.
Since we investigated elderberry syrup, we have been looking for a brand to carry, and now we’ve found one!
A handcrafted herbal mixture loaded with vitamins, minerals, and anthocyanins, Andi Lynn’s custom formulation of black elderberry (Sambucus nigra) is both potent and delicious.
The recommended serving size is 1 or 2 tsps. a day for regular use. For more intensive use you can increase the serving amount up to 6 tsps. a day. The best way to take elderberry syrup for intensive use is the space out your servings throughout the day to keep your immune system active and responding.
For children ages 2 and up we recommend cutting the serving size of our Pure and Seasonal Elderberry Syrup blends by half. That would mean ½-1 tsp a day for regular use and up to 3 tsp a day for intensive use.
Spoon Andi Lynn’s syrup into hot or iced tea, lemonade, steamed coconut milk, or your favorite protein smoothie. It’s also delicious straight from the spoon!
